Whether you’re single, dating or married – there is something here for you:

Dating in today’s world, building healthy relationships, communicating well, setting boundaries, recognising red flags, and preparing for a Christ-centred marriage.

2. Saturday 19 September: Sex, intimacy & following Jesus

Let’s have the conversations we often avoid. Explore God’s design for sex and intimacy, navigating purity, temptation and grace, singleness, and what it means to honour God in a culture with conflicting messages.

3. Saturday 3 October: Mental health & resilience

Faith doesn’t mean pretending everything is fine. We’ll explore emotional wellbeing, managing stress and anxiety, dealing with disappointment, grief and burnout, and practical ways to build resilience with God at the centre.

4. Saturday 17 October: Faith, community & belonging

Whether you’re new to faith or have been following Jesus for years, discover how to grow spiritually, build genuine friendships, navigate difficult conversations, and find your place in Christian community.

5. Saturday 31 October: Identity, purpose & your next step

Who are you becoming? Discover your identity in Christ, explore your gifts and calling, find purpose in everyday life, and learn what it means to follow Jesus with confidence.

FAQs

What is the OFNC 18-35s?

The OFNC 18-35s is the young adults ministry within the Overseas Fellowship of Nigerian Christians – a UK based Christian fellowship of believers of Nigerian heritage (predominantly, but not exclusively) with 23 branches across the country and founded in the 1960s.

Our mission is to help young adults become more like Jesus in every area of their lives. We also help them connect with one another and celebrate our unique community of British-Nigerians and Africans.

Who are Eden Relationships?

Founded by Mike and Maryane Mwaniki, Eden Relationships is a team of qualified counsellors and coaches of Christian faith, supporting people to build healthy relationships with themselves, others and their work.

Can I just pick and choose which weeks I want to attend?

No, ideally we want you to attend them all. This series has been designed as a collection of workshops where each session builds on the next.

Our vision is to create a cohort of attendees who build a rapport and confidently share their thoughts and experiences with one another. Consistency is key in creating a sense of openness and psychological safety, so we highly encourage you to sign up only if you can attend at least 4 of the 5 sessions.

Will I receive an accreditation for completing this series?

This series isn’t formally accredited but if you attend 4/5 of the sessions you will receive a special Certificate of Completion presented to you during the 18-35s Weekend Residential from 6-8 November!
